Welcome to Highcliffe and Mudeford in Dorset - 2018

NEWS - The White House B&B is now closed due to the retirement of the owners.
Bure Lodge B&B now has 5 Star Breakfast Award to go with their 5 Star accommodation. See the Accommodation page.

The Highcliffe and Mudeford Tourist Group welcomes you to this wonderful, almost secret, part of South East Dorset - just 90 minutes from South London by motorway. Situated on an unspoiled part of the South coast, it has everything a visitor could need to unwind, either for a short break, or for a longer holiday, including some of the best weather in the UK.
On offer are safe, award winning beaches, wonderful views, easy access to The New Forest National Park, great coastal nature walks, a super choice of restaurants and cafes (several are right on the beach side), an excellent choice of accommodation providers, plenty of unusual shops, a fine golf course bordering a nature reserve and close to the beach, and even cliff top Highcliffe Castle, which holds all kinds of exhibitions and events, including outdoor catering.

Visit Mudeford Quay to see the local fishing boats, or take a short ferry ride to traffic free Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head, which is almost an island, and has exquisite and much sought after beach huts, and a long history of human habitation. The ferries can also take you across the harbour to historic Christchurch.
You can also take a fishing trip (everything you need is provided) or even a high speed cruise around the bay, or to the famous Needles off the Isle of Wight.

With so much on offer for all ages, the area is the perfect location for a family holiday, or a weekend break. With plenty of family pubs, dining, and accommodation, and with easy access to so many attractions, the area is ideal for all ages.
Also within easy reach are Bournemouth, Lymington, the New Forest, and the Jurassic Coast (a World Heritage Site).

You can be sure of a warm welcome and a great holiday in Highcliffe and Mudeford in Dorset. There are also beautiful and first rate care homes.
